YE$$ AND CTI

(Youth Experiencing Security and Success)

This is an Economic Security demonstration program for youth age 16 to 30 years of age in Broadwater, Jefferson and Lewis and Clark counties who have received TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) benefits sometime during the past 24 months.

The YE$$ program is operated by Career Training Institute in Helena. YE$$ will help each youth establish an economic security plan that will lead to training or employment opportunities. In addition, youth may participate in setting up an IDA (Individual Development Account) – a savings program where CTI will match each contribution dollar for dollar up to $1,000.

Helena Community Credit Union will fund an initial deposit of $10 and the Montana Credit Union Network will match it with $10, thereby providing an account of $20 to get started. For more information, please contact Stacy Clement (406-443-0800 x28).

For more information, please contact Lisa Newman at Career Training Institute (406-443-0800 or fax 406-442-2745).
