If you become a victim of identity theft:
Notify the three national credit reporting organizations online or with the following phone numbers:

- Trans Union 800-680-7289
Call the Social Security Administration Fraud Line at 800-269-0271
Report Stolen Mail to your local Postal Inspector
File a Police Report
And file a complaint with the FTC’s Identity Theft Hotline (toll free) 1-877-IDTHEFT
